Monthly Klean Color polish haul

Once a month the local fairgrounds has a sale market where people sell all kinds of things. I admit, I mainly go just for the polish. However, I have picked up some other great items while there. Last month I got a set of 8 Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) books for $8.00. This month we snagged the Black Dagger Brotherhood books for $10.00. I think the set had 8 books. I can't check because I talked my mom into getting them and giving them as part of my Christmas.
So, here are the polishes I picked up. Not much to choose from because the guy wasn't finished unloading his truck.

The Queen's Color (top left) I had never seen before. It was the only bottle, so I grabbed it. It smells just like the KC, just a different bottle. The rest are Klean Color polishes.

The Covalt is more purple in real life. Crappy lighting here today.

Better shot of swatches. I do three coats. First coat covers the whole nail. Second coat is only on the bottom 2/3rds. The final coat covers the bottom 1/3rd of the nail. This makes it way to see how many coats the polish needs to be opaque.

Covalt. Blurry because the camera just didn't want to focus. It is a purple/blue shimmer.
I also picked up a KC hardener since I was needing another.

My New SwatchSickles are finished...for now.

I swatched each of my polishes yesterday. Atleast I hope I got them all. Haha.
One ring has clear with glitter, white, pink, red, orange, and yellow polishes. The other has green, blue, purple, brown, gray, silver, and black polishes.

I still have some swatch sticks left...guess I need to buy more polish!

SwatchSickles

Here is what I'm working on today! :)
I got three sets of 50 on Amazon for around $10.00 total. Great price for 150 swatches. I just ordered them this past weekend and they are already here. Definitely will purchase more of these from that seller.

KleanColor Neon Orange

This is 3 coats of KleanColor Neon Orange with SV topcoat.
The accent nail is the Persimmon glitter I purchased from Etsy. I applied the third coat of orange then sprinkled it on my nail and topped it off with two coats of SV.

New Mica Pigments/Eyeshadows

I purchased these on Amazon just days ago and they are already here!
There are ten total and were a decent price. I can't wait to mix the colors and see what new colors I can come up with. I also see mixing them into polish in the near future.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri: Jumpin' Jade

Polish: SH Insta-Dri Jumpin' Jade
Thoughts: Nice rich color with smooth application. Fast drying. And I love the brush in these polishes.

Halloween Mani Challenge: Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice

I did this mani for the Halloween Challenge on a Ravelry group. The first challenge was "Horror Movie". I chose Beetlejuice.
(crappy execution and non-cleanup...maybe I should add some nasty green to the b&w, lol)

My Polish Stash

A new photo of part of my stash. This doesn't include stampers, stamping plates, and random polishes sitting around. I believe my count is over 115 polishes now. :)

Recent Polish Purchases

Recently purchased polishes!

These are from the Halloween Store. I really with there was an orange glitter polish in this set. (If there is, let me know!)

-The two French mani kits came from the Dollar Tree...along with the LA Colors polish and the Color Mate polish. Never heard of this brand before, but the color is pretty. It is called "Little blue box"
-KleanColor polishes came from a sale at the local fairgrounds.
-Wet n' Wilds came from CVS. They had a sale this week: B1G1free on all WnW products. These were 99cents each. So, all four were $1.98 total!!!
-Sinful Colors came from Walgreens.

I will update with the names when have the chance later tonight.

Vampire Juice Box

This is something I whipped up the other day. It is a black jelly base with an awesome glitter named "Persimmon".
I love all things vampire, so the name "Vampire Juice Box" should ring a bell for True Blood fans. What do you think?

Homemade Holo Polish

I ordered some holo glitter on Etsy and made my own holo polish/topcoat.
(Yes, it is in an old empty Ulta bottle. I haven't had an chance to purchase any new empty bottles yet.)
There is no way to get this to photograph true-to-life. IRL, it is a OMG-BlindingWhileDriving-Holo.

In direct sunlight. My camera just could not focus on the awesomeness of this.

Here it is over purple.
