L.A. Colors Color Craze #590 (purple)

This mani is using one of the polishes that my hubby got for me yesterday. It is L.A. Colors #590....a nice creamy polish that goes on smoothly. I applied two coats to get the full opaque-ness that I wanted.
Now, this polish is not a "fast dry" type. However, I noticed right away that it was drying pretty fast. I know every person is different and it might not dry as fast for someone else. But, I'm hoping all the polishes like this one actually do.
One thing I noticed it that the color did dry slightly darker than the bottle.
I managed to fiddle with my camera to get it to show the color more accurately.
Oh! And this is without a topcoat. Look at the shine!

I got 17 new polishes in the past two days! I ran in the Dollar Tree on Sunday and picked up 6 polishes. Then my sweet hubby stopped by there on Monday and got 11 more. Three were the same colors I had picked up, but it's okay. Love him <3

New Hair!

I woke up this morning and decided the long hair had to go. Seriously, my hair was to my waist and constantly in the way. One of the most annoying things was that it kept tickling my arm and making me jump thinking it was a spider. Ewwww. So, I texted my mother, who is a cosmetologist/teacher, and told her I wanted to chop it off. She said okay and that she would be over later.
Fast forward to later, she cuts the length off to just above my shoulders. It was cute but not what I had in mind. I wanted it short like I had it my junior and senior year of highschool. So, she started whacking it off even more. And this is the result.

I usually kept it in a ponytail and I think that was part of my headache problem. It is so much lighter now. And it is quicker to wash and fix. Just a blob of wax and done. I love it.

Revlon Top Speed and a Franken glitter

For this mani I used Revlon Top Speed Pink Lingerie. It took two coats to be opaque. I then did two coats of a franken I made earlier. It has purple and silver square holo and tiny pink and blue glitter.

Neon + Crackle

After applying and removing three different polishes, I finally settled on this combination. It is Klean Color Neon Pink with Nabi Yellow Crack on top.
Other than the major shrinkage of the pink (from the crackle, that I managed to fix), I like this combination. Also, it isn't as yellow as I hoped it would be after applying. It does have a more orange-ish tint from being over the pink.

Dots! Dots! Dot!

I let Memphis pick out my polish today. She chose Revlon Top Speed in Grape...along with a rainbow of Klean Color neons.
Finished: colors are way more bright IRL.

These are very bright in person: (note to self, need a purple and blue neon)
Base color: it kept photographing very dark, almost black...so I adjusted the image to make it look more like it looks in person..

Mmm, grape: (see how dark it looks without any good lighting)
Wonder what colors Memphis will pick next! :-)

Vampy French Nails V--V

Playing around with polishes today...
Wet ‘n Wild: Black Creme
Creative: #289 Royal Crime (under the holo polish)
KleanColor: #230 Chunky Holo Fuchsia (got this for $1 at the local monthly flea market)
Wet N Wild: This black is awesome. I can easily do only one coat and it covers so well! (You can tell I use it a lot...sticker is wearing off.)
Klean Color: Very pretty pink with holo (that is pink, orange, & yellow).
Creative: I've had this for a long while and it is more of a shimmery purple/red with coppery tones. Can't see it well in this pic though.

Look at the holo! Not the best shot...
This is better...See the pink/orange/yellow! Very pretty.
And you can also see the lumpiness from a smudge on my thumb. Grr. Guess I will be changing polish again tomorrow...
